Slow Horses builds its London from recognisable streets, working transport hubs and corners that a hurried visitor could easily miss. The familiar office frontage is a useful starting point, but the locations become more interesting when you see how they relate to one another. A short walk can move from Aldersgate Street’s traffic to a burial ground, a market or a modern housing estate. Television editing makes those changes feel immediate; travelling between them reveals the distances and different neighbourhoods behind the story.

Begin with the City and Barbican group if you have a morning or an afternoon. The Slough House frontage and separate St John Street rear setting sit within the same broad walking area. Bunhill Fields provides a quieter stop, while Leather Lane is best treated as a weekday market visit. Golden Lane Estate and Gresham Street add places from the later series. The Glasshouse guide explains a composite screen setting through a public City walk, rather than directing you to an invented single filming address.

King’s Cross and St Pancras work well together because the railway approaches, Granary Square and canal are close enough to visit in sequence. Cumberland Basin is a different stretch of Regent’s Canal, beyond Camden, and needs a longer walk or a separate journey. Check which canal stop you mean before setting off. The railway guide connects these station visits with the programme’s transport stories without claiming that an unverified platform is the one used in a particular scene.

Petticoat Lane belongs to the eastern side of the central London circuit. Its market streets offer a different rhythm from the office districts, with trading hours that matter if you want to see the area busy. Harlow and Castle Combe are separate trips outside London. Bush Fair supplies the real setting for Abbotsfield, while Castle Combe’s village streets stand in for Upshott. Neither destination should be squeezed into a walking route that starts in the City.
