Sources and original writing

Factual claims should be traceable to evidence a reader can inspect. Official programme pages, credited production interviews, publishers, award bodies, transport operators and venue websites are the preferred starting points. Established reporting can add interviews and context, but a claim’s repetition across several pages does not make it independently verified. The source should support the particular detail, rather than merely mention the same programme or person.

Summaries, recaps and analysis are written in original prose. The guide does not reproduce scripts, link to transcript sites or assemble long extracts from the novels. Fan wikis, forums and streaming aggregators are not treated as evidence for character facts or production credits. A concise paraphrase should preserve the source’s meaning and attribution. A quotation must remain short, accurate and clearly identified as somebody else’s words.

What the evidence labels mean

Confirmed identifies a claim established by an official source, a directly attributable production account or other primary evidence. The scope matters: confirming that a street was used does not establish which doorway appeared, whether an interior was filmed there or whether visitors may enter. A page explains what the evidence actually covers.

Reported marks information attributed to an established publication when it has not been established through the same primary route. It is a useful category for filming reports and location identifications, provided the publication and date are visible. Reporting about a planned shoot remains a plan until there is evidence of what happened.

Composite describes a screen setting assembled from different places, or a broader area or network guide that cannot honestly be reduced to one filming pin. The Slough House front and rear split is an example of television geography requiring more explanation than a single address. Composite is not a substitute for evidence and does not authorise guessing an unidentified building.

Dates and corrections

News dates distinguish announcements, release events and checks of a publisher’s current listing. Visitor access information records when it was checked, while live transport and venue notices remain the place to confirm conditions before travelling. Upcoming episode pages retain their scheduled status until the episode has aired and a full guide has been prepared.

Send corrections through Contact / Feedback, identifying the page, the detail to change and the strongest source available. Corrections are assessed against that evidence and any related claims elsewhere on the site. If a change affects a central fact, the relevant date and connected guides should be reviewed together. Unsupported information may be removed rather than replaced with another uncertain account.

Spoilers, illustrations and photographs

Introductions establish people, books and series without giving away later outcomes. Detailed plots, endings and later character developments are placed in separately labelled spoiler blocks. Opening one block should make its subject clear; readers can choose which series or episode they are ready to explore.

The atmospheric series illustrations and spy-duck artwork are AI-generated, AI-assisted pieces created for this independent guide. Their captions disclose that origin. They are not production stills, evidence of a real interior or portraits of performers. Where a licensed photograph is used, the credit identifies the photographer, source and compatible licence.
